Workplace Violence Incident Reporting Procedure

To ensure effective handling of workplace violence incidents, the following procedures are implemented:

1. Reporting threats or acts of workplace violence
Employees should report any threats or acts of workplace violence to their supervisor or manager. Supervisors will then inform the WVPP administrator/Safety Officer. Reports can be made anonymously through the Healthicity platform.
2. Alternative reporting methods
If anonymous reporting is not feasible or preferred, employees can report incidents directly to their management or supervisor, or contact People & Culture at peopleandculture@sfaf.org.
3. Non-retaliation policy
SFAF has a strict non-retaliation policy. Any instances of retaliation are dealt with swiftly and decisively to ensure a safe reporting environment.
